God bless you all! With 19% of my support in, and needing to raise $200 more before June 5th, I am feeling very blessed. I have the remainder of the summer to raise the remaining $1500, but at this rate, I will blessedly be all set well before the last of the money is due in!

Thank you again for your support, prayers, and faith.

Matthew 10:8 -- Freely you have received, freely give.

What a whirlwind!

Hello all! What an exciting journey this has been so far! As many of you may know, I joined the summer staff of UW Sports Ministry last summer and spent nine weeks traveling to Oklahoma, New Mexico, Idaho, Washington, Mexico, Colorado, and California coaching sports (mainly cheerleading, but I also dabbled in basketball and soccer) and sharing the Gospel with hundreds of children. This experience was one of the best in my life; I met incredible people, traveled to many new places, and deepened my relationship with Christ.

As this summer approached, I was afraid that I would have to get a job near home in order to save money for college, and I would not be able to join UW for a second summer. However, when my close friend, Laura, began considering a last-minute application with UW, about two weeks ago she asked me to share my experiences with her so she could learn more about what her summer might look like. Telling her about the incredible adventures I'd had reminded me how much I had loved the ministry, and I decided to contact UW and see if they were in need of another cheer intern. And as it happens, they had one more spot for the first three weeks of the summer and they asked me to fill it! God is great.

To cover travel and ministry expenses, UW has asked me to raise $2100. While this seems a daunting task -- to raise $2100 in just over a month with none raised thus far -- God has proven to be steadfast and giving and I am confident He will provide. I ask that you all to lift up this incredible ministry and pray that all the interns will become God's instruments for sharing His Word with children; that we will be effective examples and role models for all who we meet; that we will be flexible, cooperative, and compassionate; that our travels will be safe and efficient; and that we will all be able to raise the support we need for a successful summer.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and your continued support!

Jeremiah 29:11 -- "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
